Aquafest 2024 welcomes back Souled Out
They have been tearing up the circuit with their brand of fiery musicianship.
Souled Out is a R & B band featuring a 5-piece horn section, high powered rhythm section, and soulful vocals. We perform all dance covers from classic hits to modern grooves.
Soul, funk, blues, rock, disco, from Tower of Power, James Brown and Stevie Wonder to Doja Kat and Bruno Mars. They cover it all.
Get on your dancing shoes momma; you’re going to need them!
Dog Agility
Want to see incredible dogs of all sizes defy gravity and conquer obstacles? Then join the Sno-King Agility Club for a Dog Agility demo!
These amazing canine athletes will show you the ropes (or should we say leashes?) on this exciting sport. Witness the teamwork, speed, and pure joy as dog and handler race through the course.
But wait, there's more! After the demo, you and your furry friend (age 15 months or older) can get in on the action with a supervised mini agility course. It's your chance to experience the thrill of dog agility firsthand!
The Sno-King Agility Club, based at French Creek Pet Resort in Snohomish, offers everything from agility classes to full-blown competitions. They put on demos, practices, seminars, and trials throughout the Puget Sound Area. So come on out, see what it's all about, and get ready to be amazed!
Mike Faast & Swing 48

Featuring some of the finest musicians in the NW; Swing 48 borrows from western swing, Gypsy Jazz and Jazz Standards as they deliver their own distinct brand of high energy American String Swing
Proud Pet Show
Our Proud Pet Show is back at Aquafest.. This is an event for 15 year olds and under to display their pets. Participants may select novel categories such as largest pet, smallest pet, most unusual, most huggable, congeniality, best kisser, best dressed, or best trick. Up to two presenters may accompany each pet but only one entry is allowed per person. Pets may include any animals which aren’t hazardous (no parasites please) and parents or guardians are responsible for the animal’s behavior. It’s free and makes for a great photo op. Online registration is preferred to speed things up but some registration is possible at the event.

Grimm House Tours
The historic 1903 Grimm House will be open for tours during Aquafest Fri, July 26: 12-6, Sat, July 27: 12-6 and Sun, July 28: 12-3.
Stop by and see the new additions and learn about our future plans. The Grimm House, one of the oldest structures in Lake Stevens, was restored to appear as it would have looked like in the late 1920s or early 1930s and has furnishings for that time period.
Did you know the Grimm House is on the National Register of Historic Places?
We will have a "Hands On History" table set outside for the younger children to explore.
And we now have a "Free Little Library" located at the Grimm House.
Simon Sez

Are you ready?
The players must obey all commands that begin with the words “Simon says”. If Simon says, “Simon says touch your nose” then all players must touch their nose. However, if Simon says, “jump” without saying “Simon says” first the players must not jump. If they do jump, that player is out until the next game..
Last one “standing” takes home the prize!!!!!!!!

BACK AGAIN BY POPULAR DEMAND!
The Lake Stevens Rowing Club is offering a free “Try Row” session. This is an excellent way to get introduced to the sport for both youths (13+ yrs) and adults of all ages.

K9’s in Action - Community Engagement Event
Sunday, July 28th -The Snohomish County K9 Foundation will present K9 Demonstrations @ both 10am & 11am with photo opportunities after each demonstration. This is a family friendly event!
We are excited to bring back some of Snohomish County's finest, our K9 Patrol and their Deputy/Officer Handlers! This is a great opportunity to learn about the real "PAW PATROL" and enjoy sponsored giveaways & coffee beverages. This year Project Serve Outreach will bring their Coffee Trailer and will have help serving by Kelly Landon/Back The Blue-Snohomish County! You don't want to miss this fun, engaging event!

And if you are a LSHS graduate, start a new tradition! Get your annual photo taken at Aquafest with the legendary CHICKEN.
We will have tickets on sale for our raffle to raise money for exhibits in the new museum. We are extremely grateful for the listed sponsors who donated items/services for this raffle! Tickets are $2.00 each, cash or check.
Our history books, coloring books, notecards and posters will be available for sale.

Firefighter’s Pancake Breakfast
Firefighters will be serving up pancakes, eggs and ham hot off the grill. Coffee and orange juice will also be available. The cost for breakfast is simply a donation, and proceeds will go towards the Fire 7 Foundation in support of the community and fire service family during times of need.

Saturday evening outdoor movie for the whole family!
Set up a spot on the North Cove Park Great Lawn and come watch. A concession stand will be available for refreshments.

Watermelon Eating Contest
Main Stage
The object is to finish a set amount of watermelon, within the 3-minute time limit. Contestants will compete against each other at the same time. At the end of the time limit the person that eats the most watermelon will be declared the winner.
There will be two Divisions limited to 10 people in each division.

Boat Parade
Get ready for the much-anticipated Aquafest Boat Parade! It’s time to unleash your creativity and decorate your boats in the most unique way. This year, there's no specific theme, so let your imagination run wild. Don't forget to bring treats to toss at the local docks as you cruise along Lake Stevens. We suggest bagging your treats for easy retrieval if they miss the dock.

Hot Rodster Band consider themselves a Charlie Daniels High Energy Country Rock Fiddle Show.
But they are MUCH more than simply a tribute to Charlie Daniels
Playing all the modern to classic country and country rock hits that you know and love.

Grande Parade by ACE Hardware
Let’s have a Grand Olde Time on Main Street, Lake Stevens
The Grande Parade is an Aquafest favorite! It is one of the largest summer parades in the Pacific Northwest. The parade begins at 1pm and is sure to be good, old fashioned, home town fun. The parade will start on Hartford, adjacent to the Fire Station, and make its way through Main Street, so come early to find your seat!

Diaper Dash

PARENTS, START YOUR ENGINES!
Your little one will go head-to-head with other crawlers as they race across the course to the finish line. What is baby crawl/Diaper Derby?
Baby crawling or commonly known as Diaper Derby races are held around the world. Babies race across the floor, crawling on their hands and knees, enticed by their parents or grandparents at the other end of the track, waving toys, cookies, mobile phones and whatever else they think could entice them to speed along the path.

Aquafest 2024 welcomes back The Lake Stevens Community Band!
The Lake Stevens Community Band is a 45-piece horn band that was started in 2021. In their first year they performed at the Farmers Market, Light up Lake Stevens, Harvest Fest and Winter Fest. Their concerts are always free and family friendly. The band is under the direction of local conductor, Alan Wiseman and Executive Director, Kate MacKenzie.

Aquafest 3on3 Basketball
Gear up for our 2 day indoor/outdoor (4 game guarantee) tournament at Lake Stevens High School with teams from all over the state. Bring your swimsuits, the high school is about a mile from the waterfront of North Cove park. You will not want to miss this action packed tournament during the Aquafest festival.
